More information will be released soon once the eVisa is available for more countries.

Necessary documents

The list of documents that must be gathered to apply for an electronic visa for the Philippines goes as follows:

  • a valid machine-readable passport (clear and legible copy of a bio-data passport page with all the corners visible);
  • a face photograph of the applicant (it can be taken using a mobile phone or PC web camera)

Important: As the implementation of the electronic visa is still ongoing, the country can soon announce new requirements for the applicants, including the list of eligible countries and necessary documentation. The list of required documents can also vary depending on the country of origin of the applicant.

Other requirements

Apart from preparing the required documents for the online visa application, travelers should also ensure that they can access the following:

  • active email address
  • valid means of online payment
  • working electronic device
  • stable Internet connection

Please note that failure to have a stable connection with the Internet may result in an unsuccessful application or the need to start everything from scratch. Gathering all necessary documents and checking access to all the required items can make your application easier and faster.

Processing time

The exact processing time is yet to be determined, as the Philippines eVisa system is still in the testing phase. Once the electronic visas are available to a bigger number of countries, it will be possible to determine the average time that applicants need to wait to receive the visa approval.

It is expected that the processing time may take around a few business days. Nevertheless, every application is reviewed individually, and the real waiting time may vary from application to application.
